In the first quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Nigeria saw intriguing trends among the top sci-fi game applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games displayed varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Spider Fighter 3: Action Game experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 16K in early January and closing the quarter with a peak of approximately 17K. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, rising from 118K to 135K by the end of March. Revenue was minimal, with a slight peak reaching $39 in the last week of March.

Spider Fighter 2 had a varied download pattern, beginning with 14K and dipping mid-quarter before climbing back to nearly 10K. Active users showed a similar trend, with numbers increasing from 115K to 116K by quarter's end.

Anger of stick 5: zombie saw a decrease in downloads from 13K to around 6.8K over the quarter. Active users also declined from 26K to 14K. Revenue was highest at $132 in the first week of January, tapering off to zero in subsequent weeks.
